So, I have been totally slacking on the blog! We have been busy and since Kate doesn't really take naps  during the day it's been so hard trying to find the time to do any of the "extras" that I love. But I'm going to try to be better at updating and sharing Kate's life because I can't keep all this cuteness to myself. We have been doing really great though and Kate has gotten so big now! I can't believe how fast she is growing! These pictures are from a couple of months ago.

The Most Wonderful Time Of the Year

Kate's first Christmas was a lot of fun but went by so fast! We had our schedule full with hanging out with family and friends. I love Christmas and all that this season means. I know the holidays to come will be filled with more excitement as Kate gets older and can actually open her own presents!

Jon and I went on our first date. I was kind of freaking out; but it was great getting Jon all to myself.  

We left Kate with my parents so Jon and I could go to Jon's Christmas party for work. Kate wasn't very happy at first but she adjusted.

November Fun

We had a lot of fun in November. The weather was pretty amazing for most of the month. And of course Thanksgiving was so much fun hanging out with family and eating yummy food.

Growing and Exploring

Kate has gotten so big! I think she grows and learns something new everyday. We are getting into a good routine of sleeping, eating, and playing. Making funny faces, smiling, and dancing around are some of our favorite things to do. She is starting to talk which if she is anything like me will be another favorite thing! Here are some moments from the past weeks:

One Month

I can't believe that Kate is already a month old! She is growing so fast; she is now 7 pounds, 14 ounces and is 20 inches long! I'm amazed at how much love that I feel for this sweet little face. This was her first "photoshoot"; she liked getting her picture taken.  

Kate's Room

Kate's room turned out better than I expected; it is perfect for her! Jon and my step-dad put the board and batten up and painted (which I can say picking out wall colors is so hard! We had 7 samples on the wall but once we found "the one" it was perfect) I'm so glad I have very talented men in my life.
